               Drug Interactions with Quinidine:

Antacids, NaHCO 3 Concurrent use may increase the serum concentration of
Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors Quinidine by increasing its renal tubular reabsorption.

Anticholinergic drugs It may intensify the anticholinergic side effects of Quinidine.

Cimetidine Increases the serum concentration of Quinidine by inhibiting its
                                                 metabolism.

Digoxin Concurrent use of Quinidine with Digoxin may increase the serum
                                                 concentration of Digoxin.

Bethanechol Concurrent use with Quinidine may antagonize the cholinergic
                                                 effects of Bethanechol (Urecholine).

Pimozide When used with Quinidine it may cause severe cardiac arrhythmias.

               Drug Interactions with Procainamide:

Atropine, Antihistamines Concurrent use with Procainamide may intensify anticholinergic
                                                 side effects.

Bethanechol Concurrent use with Procainamide may antagonize the cholinergic
                                                 effects of Bethanechol (Urecholine).

               Drug Interactions with Disopyramide:

Diltiazem, Verapamil, An additive AV node suppression.
               Beta-blockers

Anticholinergic drugs May intensify anticholinergic side effects of such medications.

               Class IB Antiarrhythmic Agents:

                                Dose Special Notes

Lidocaine N/A 1). Lidocaine is indicated for the treatment of ventricular arrhythmia.
               (Injection)
2). Lidocaine has central nervous system stimulation property. It is
contraindicated to use in patients suffering from seizures.

3). Drowsiness, vomiting, fast heart rate, rapid breathing, confusion,
twitching and seizure are reported side effects of Lidocaine.
